Education is one of the important pillar of our civilization. In our daily life we learn something and teach something. Teacher and student are the two major force of the education. Teacher is the person who teach skills and knowledge to student. Student is the person who learn the wisdom from the teacher.

How to define Education
In the broad term Education is an activity of learning and teaching that has a major effect on the mind, character or physical ability of a person.
In the technical term Education is the process by which society intentionally transfer its gathered knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another.
Types of modern Education system
In Education we can include any knowledge and skills which is transferred to another person. Here are the basic types of modern education system is given below –
*Preschool education
Preschool education is the first step in the modern education system. This type of education is given to the children usually between the ages of two to five.
*Primary education
It is also known as the elementary education. It consists of the early days of 5-7 years of formal and structured education. This type of education started at the age of five or six.
*High school education
It is generally started around the age of six years. This type of education generally consists of seven years of education.
*Higher education
It’s the third stage of the education system. It is a post secondary education that follows the completion of a high school education. In this type of education we can include undergraduate and postgraduate education.
*Professional education
In this type of education we can include the various professional courses like Computers courses, Management courses, vocational courses etc.
*Adult education
In these days Adult education has become common in many nations. It takes on many forms, ranging from formal class-based learning to self-directed learning and e-
learning.
*Alternative education
Well known as non-traditional education or educational alternative, is a broad term that may be used to refer to all forms of education outside of traditional education system.
